Accelerated Curing
- Prints are ready for additional coats or for stretching once coating has gone clear (No whiteness or milkiness is apparent)
- Actual curing time of the coating varies with changes in parameters such as: Media, Time, Temperature, RH (relative humidity) and Circulation of the air.
- Curing can be accelerated with increased airflow by positioning a fan 3 feet in front of the print, after 15 minutes from time of coating.
- Reminder: a dust-free environment is essential when using a fan.
A simple test to confirm curing of coating is as follows: Place a drop of water in lower corner of print, if drop of water turns milky within 15 minutes coating is not cured. If no change in water drop, coating is cured.
